Because so many of our customers use BlackBerrys, I wanted to figure out some neat quick tips and tricks I could use with this cool business toy.
While scouring the internet and stumbling across a few myself while using my BlackBerry, I came up with some very helpful things and decided to share them on my blog.
Here you go…
Delete Unused Items:
Delete all of the unused things on your phone to free up room for, well the limitless amounts of things you will be using on your BlackBerry. Some things to delete: unused languages, pictures, remove sample videos.
Delete Multiple Messages:
Search for messages, then press “Delete Prior” to delete all of the messages in the results.
Change the Color of Your Pearl!
If you have a BlackBerry Pearl you can easily change the color of the pearl with a simple download. Just download ColorPearl from Geek and Proud for free, which allows you to change the color of the trackball on your BlackBerry Pearl.
Sync your Blackberry to your Apple Mac computer for free!

Use Three Way Calling!
Ever need to three way call someone for a business meeting or just for social networking reasons? Well you can and here is how: Once you are on the phone with one person, hit the space bar to bring up your recent call list, next choose a contact to dial from the address book. (When you start dialing, the initial call is placed on hold) After the second caller answers, swap back and forth between callers or join the two with you.

Download Google Talk on Your Blackberry!

Adjust Trackball Sensitivity
The BlackBerry comes with factory default of 70,depending upon what your preference is you may like it higher or lower depending upon how sensitive you want it to be. In order to do this, go to start, then settings , then system, then mouse mode and adjust the speed of pointer.

Highlight Text:
Ever want to highlight part of a webpage and paste it to a text, or email? Well to do that press Shift, then move the wheel up or down.
Delete Messages by Date:
Many of us don’t have time to go through and manually delete old messages, good thing there is a way to have your BlackBerry automatically do it: Click a date and press Delete Prior to restore order to your mailbox while still retaining your most recent messages.
Capitalize Letters:
Press and hold letters down to make them capitals.
Dial Lettered Numbers:
Call lettered numbers like 1-800-Pock-Mac by pressing Alt, then typing the letters.
Reboot your BlackBerry:
You can reboot your BlackBerry without pulling out your battery by pressing Alt, Caps and Delete all at the same time.
Take Notes While on Your Phone:
If you are ever on an important business call and need to take notes, but don’t have a handy pen and paper ready?
No problem, put them on speaker and use your BlackBerry to take notes as you talk. In order to do this; click the trackwheel, then navigate to the notes icon, next open notes and start typing your text. Another cool feature is that the notes will stay attached to the phone number in the log in case you do this for lots of different business calls.
Select Special Characters:
Press and hold a letter key, then move the thumb wheel up or down to get the appropriate character.

I have lost blackberry messenger.. and i am tryn to re-download it.. or something… my provider couldnt fix it.. is there a way ?
