Until recently, I never knew if the rumors about Google headquarters and the extravagant amenities available to their employees were true or just corporate urban legend…
Check it out:
The Tech Stop: Take your computer or anything that isn’t working to get fixed, and as you wait, have a machiato or maybe a peppermint mocha for the holidays.
The work stations or offices: Where the “Zooglers” can enjoy two large computer screens and white boards all over the office for brainstorming ideas.
While the above is all quite impressive alone, it gets even better….
Feeling tired? Go take a lil’ snooze in one of these chairs, or at least relax in there while watching the fish.
Still feeling stressed after counting fish in the relaxation/resting room? Go get a massage from one of the on site masseurs. (not kidding)
Now that you are all rested and relaxed, why not stop by the game room on your way back to your desk and shoot a few rounds of pool?
Finally time to get back to work… Slide on down back to your work station… And get some stuff accomplished 
After looking at all of these amazing pictures- I began thinking a few things to myself:
1. How can they even make a profit or how do they have time to actually work??
2. This is further proof that my theory that Google will be taking over the world is in fact going to happen sooner than expected… And their workers will be well rested and ready to begin ANY task.

Nice pics – but it ain’t reality; sure you can take a break and enjoy the fish – after working 90+ hours a week trying to make the deadline for product. sure perks are “nice”, but the cut-throat mentality and arse kissing is pathetic. if you have family and don’t want to put in the 75 hr work week – forget any good projects. you sit twiddling you thumbs looking for something “exciting” to do – or get stuck doing some mundane code repair job. worse place I ever worked. they’re the “scientologist” of the tech world…
